Nicole Richie and Brody Jenners relationship seems to have gone the way of other young celebrity summer romances. They havent been photographed together in some time, and Brody was spotted going to a club with Lauren Conrad on Monday.
X17 has a story about how Nicole Richie ended it with Brody Jenner yesterday morning. The surprising part is not that Nicole and Brody are over, but that Nicole is said to have met up with Paris at the Beverly Hills hotel, and to have hung out with her at Nicoles dads house for nearly two hours afterwards:
* 12:30 pm - dumped Brody in Malibu and headed for Beverly Hills
* 1:00 pm - met up with Paris Hilton at the Beverly Hills Hotel for about 10 minutes
* 1:10 pm - drove back to her dads (Lionel) house, where she and Paris rendez-vous again
* 1:20 pm - chatted with Paris about Brody breakup, Paris chats about Shanna bust up
* 3:15 pm - left dads house off to who-knows where and Paris goes shopping (see video below)
Nicole has said repeatedly that she didnt do anything to offend Paris, but that shes not interested in reuniting with her, and that theyre just two different people now. Paris has said that shes not going to get into details, but that Nicole knows what she did. It was rumored that Nicole screened a copy of Paris sex tape, One Night in Paris to friends at a party, but Nicole has denied that ever happened.
Did the news of Paris fight with Shanna Moakler coupled with her heartache over breaking up with Brody cause Nicole to reach out to Paris Mischa Barton has said that Nicole isnt returning her calls and is acting rather fickle after they spent a lot of time together earlier in the summer. Maybe Nicole is ready to mend fences with Paris.
Paris has been seen hanging out with Kim Kardashian, and I havent noticed photos of her lately with her old friend Caroline DAmore. She could be ready to welcome Nicole back too.
In June Paris said that she got nostalgic for her friendship with Nicole after looking at baby pictures of the two of them together. In an interview on Regis and Kelly she said You know I love Nicole and Ive known her twenty years.
Ive looked at baby pictures, it makes me sad but shes, you know, were going through something right now and well make up one day.
Just a week ago there was a video out that was supposed to show footage of Paris and Nicole chatting on the phone, but people werent sure if it was a put-on.
Its possible the X17 is trying to be funny by claiming that Nicole and Paris reuinted, but if so I didnt get the joke and theres not much commentary to go along with this timeline.
I would love to see these two together again. Im kind of sick of each of them separately, but if they became friends again there might be some fun stories and pictures. Well see what happens.
